Using the Page Builder

 

The page builder allows you to:

  • Quickly build and deploy attractive preference centers and landing pages from our easy-to-use wysiwyg editor: no knowledge of HTML or IT involvement required.
  • Create an unlimited number of preference centers and landing pages.
  • Host the pages on your own custom subdomain (e.g. preferences.client.com) or on PostUp's free, SSL secured domain: preferencecentral.com.

To begin, expand the more menu and select the page builder link.

Pages are integrated directly into your existing PostUp database.

Creating your page

  1. In the page builder view, press the create new page button.

  2. Select a theme to use as a template.

    Note: you may get a pop-up from pushplanet.com asking you to confirm the selected theme. If so, press the OK button.

  3. Enter a name for your page and press the save name button to go to the editor window (your chosen template will appear in the preview pane).

  4. Use the editor tabs to:
    • Adjust the page design.
    • Edit the text of your prompts and boxes.
    • Edit your buttons.
    • Change your images.
    • Edit your fields.
    • Change your form validation settings.
    • Edit your HTML settings.
  5. When you have finished editing your page, press the save button.
  6. When ready, publish your page.

Preference Centers

Preference centers allow you to save subscribers in the process of unsubscribing or introduce subscribers to other content.

Using a preference center allows your email subscribers to:

  • Select what kind of emails they receive,
  • Choose how often they receive emails, and
  • Pause emails for a set amount of time.

Add contact details fields linked to recipient data fields and checkboxes linked to lists/unsub lists to create a simple preference center form.

Landing pages

A landing page allows you to drive conversions from email referrals, paid search, your website, etc.

You can use the page builder to create a wide range of landing page forms, such as:

  • sign up for a sweepstake.
  • Upgrade membership.
  • Buy a premium product offering.
  • Subscribe to future promotions.

Add contact details fields linked to recipient data fields and checkboxes linked to a list and mandatory fields to accept terms to create a simple prize draw sign-up form.
