Delivery Chart Overview

’s Detailed Mailing Report provides a detailed analysis of a specific mailing’s performance and deliverability. This report includes information such as opens, click-throughs, shares, in addition to three charts highlighting delivery and list statistics. One of these chart, referred to as the Delivery Chart, provides a breakdown in how the mailing performed in regards to bounces, blocked messages and overall delivery.

Please refer to the following list for more information about the data displayed in ’s Delivery Chart.

  • Scheduled (not displayed in the actual chart): The number of recipients scheduled to receive the mailing.
  • Delivered: The number of messages accepted by the intended email clients, such as Yahoo! and Hotmail.
  • Unsent: The number of unsent messages represents the numbers of recipients is either (1) waiting to receive delivery information for, or (2) retrying the message for. will retry soft bounced messages up to 12 hours. During this time, will display these recipients as unsent. After 12 hours, will categorize these recipients as soft bounces if the servers could not deliver the mailing.
  • Suppressed: The number of recipients that appeared on one or more suppression lists, selected during the mailing creation process.
  • Failed: A failed status indicates that an error occurred when attempting to deliver the mailing to the intended recipients. Please submit a case through the Client Support Site in the event the Detailed Mailing Report shows one or more failed recipients.
  • Soft Bounces: A soft bounce indicates a transient error for a particular address that may be resolved in the future. Examples of soft bounces are user@domain.com exceeded storage allocation or attempting to send to a mail server that is unreachable.
  • Hard Bounces: A hard bounce indicates the subscriber's address is invalid. Hard bounces are defined as a permanent error such as user@domain.com does not exist.
  • Block Bounces: A block bounce indicates that the ISP rejected the message because of an issue related to the sender’s reputation.
